A joint report from the United Nations Development Programme, the OECD has suggested that Pakistan needs to create jobs for the rapidly growing young labor force to address the complex security challenges and Oltosea industrial base for future sustainable development.
He noted “the progress report of the Global Partnership to monitor the effective development cooperation” in 2016, for example,
Pakistan and sustainable improvement of macroeconomic and financial environment through wide-ranging reforms,
while consolidated democratic governance, the report indicates.
Based on the second round of the Global Partnership monitoring results,
has been released a new batch of profiles control 10 countries, including Pakistan.
With the last batch, a total of 40 profiles are now available and to highlight progress and
challenges at the country level on four continents.
Young Development Program
Since the latest round of monitoring Pakistan in 2010, the proportion of development finance cooperation registered in the government’s budget of 60 per cent has fallen to 34pc.
In the future, the government may consider giving special attention to the ability to adequately plan for Utlqa multilateral funding in the national budget for parliamentary oversight to ensure more consistent on Financing for Development.
In the current round of monitoring, it said five development partners of Pakistan exchange $ 2573000000 in 2015.
The World Bank contributed 62pc followed by 15pc and 11 pc Bank of Japan.
It is now the government’s foreign aid policy framework that will define a common and
specific targets to continue to move towards the effective development cooperation.
The report says part of a strong multilateral character of development cooperation in Pakistan,
supporting a large number of sectors, with the relative focus on agriculture, education, energy, health and emergency response.
This is the first time, Pakistan participated in the monitoring by the Global Partnership for Effective Development Cooperation,
led by the United States, but the country was part of the monitoring in 2011 to implement the Paris Declaration on Aid Effectiveness.
Progress measures the Paris Declaration on aid effectiveness against 12 indicators, based on the five pillars.
Also it defines the roles and responsibilities of government and donor partner.
