Ministry of Petroleum and Natural has freed compressed natural gas pricing (CNG) in Sindh.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), which set a previously compressed natural gas prices, we no longer have that power.
Decision gives the owners of CNG stations, the authority to determine prices and profit rates arbitrarily.
Ministry of Petroleum will make the necessary adjustments to the law Ogra to implement its decision.
Ministry retains control over the pricing of gasoline and all matters relating to taxation.
The head of the Supreme Council of All Pakistan CNG Association, Gayas Paracha, “saved the government’s decision will give a dying sector a new lease of life. The Rs450 billion from destruction industry.”
