The PSL Team Peshawar Zalmi Nominated the Nobel Prize Winner Malala Yousafzai the ambassador of their team in the next season of the league.
After meeting with Malala Yousufzai and her family in the United Kingdom, team owner Javed Afridi said that Malala will be the face of Peshawar Zalmi. In the next season she will also be cheering for the team during the tournament in Dubai.
“It is an honor for us to be associated with Malala Yousafzai who made Pakistan proud by winning the Nobel Prize. Javed Afridi said after his meeting with Malala and her family and the Foundation Peshawar Zalmi also support Malala issue of girls’ education in Pakistan and other countries.”
Afridi also offer a formal jacket of PZ to Malala, 19-year-old, the youngest ever winner of the Nobel Prize, and only the second Pakistani to win this prestigious award.
“Malala has always been a great supporter of Peshawar Zalmi, and this year she will be the face of our team ambassador for our team,” said Afridi.
Malala has also recorded a video in support of Peshawar Zalmi, saying it was one of the great fans of Peshawar Dalimy.
She said, “To all the fans of Peshawar Zalmi, as I am one of you”.
“We support all of this team because we are proud of our culture and traditions of the Pashtuns and Pashtuns Pashtun nationality. We stand for peace and unity in the region. She said please come forward and support the team.”
The second edition of PSL will be played from February 9 – 7 March in Dubai.
