Q: Tell us about your self?

Ans: I am Hamza Faisal Ahmed 24 years Old Born in Birmingham, England. Now i am studying in University of Oxford. And going to debut in First-Class cricket from Marylebone Cricket Club University at Lords Cricket Ground. I am Right-Handed Top Order Batsmen & Right-Handed Off-Spinner

Q: Tell us about you cricketing career?

Ans: I represented and captained Worcestershire County Cricket Club (up till U17) and Warwickshire County Cricket Club (U19), where i was one of the top 3 batsmen. In 2016, i won Worcestershire County Batsmen of the Year (U16) averaging 51.31, and the best youth cricketer in the region. I was awarded an academy contract for 2 years with Warwickshire County, which i accepted and played against Afghanistan, Ireland and the Netherlands.

Q: Tell us about your playing achievement so far?
In the season commencing 2020, I plays for Smethwick Cricket Club 1st Team who are in the best league in England – Birmingham Premier District Cricket League (BPDCL). Players such as; Wasim Akram, Mohammed Yousuf, Mohammed Akram, Moeen Ali and more have played for Smethwick 1st team and in the BPDCL. Last year, i was one of the key all player and i was awarded the third best batsmen in the region, scoring 455 runs averaging 65.00 for the season. With the ball, i ve won games with an economy of 3.54 and average of 20.14, taking 53 wickets throughout the years. With a yo-yo test score of 20, he is regarding as one of the best fielders in the regions, who predominantly fields in key areas such as; slips, point and cover.

Q: Tell us about awards which you won from your school level?

Ans: I have won many Man of Matches performances and major Rewards including: 🌟in 2020: Batsman & Player of the Year (Smethwick CC & Birmingham District League).
🌟 In 2016: Phoneix Cricket Cup Winners player of the Series,
🌟 2015: Dudley Sportsman of the Year in Cricket Dudley & Districts Colleges and Schools Awards for Excellence in Sports- Cricket. Presented by Dave Moorcroft (Olympic 5000m Gold Medalist)

Q: Tell us about your current practicing routine?
Ans: I am doing trainings 7 days a week in a professional first class setting at Oxford and Loughborough cricket centres.

Q: Your future dreams and ambitions?

Ans: As like every young cricketer i am dreaming to represent my country at top level and become a best all rounder like Flintoff, Kallis and Moin Ali.
